No. You can self-refer directly, or your clinician can send a referral securely to our team. We welcome referrals from GPs, specialists, and allied healthcare professionals.
You’ll receive a verbal summary immediately after your scan and a written report the same day, usually within a few hours. Your images are included at no extra cost and can be securely shared with your GP or referrer.
Yes. Ultrasound uses sound waves rather than radiation, making it one of the safest imaging methods available. It is suitable for adults, including those who are pregnant, when used appropriately.
Your sonographer will explain the findings clearly. With your consent, your report can be sent directly to your GP or clinician to arrange follow-up care. Our private GP service can also provide further review or onward referral if needed.
Yes, you are welcome to bring a companion for support during your appointment. A chaperone is always available for intimate examinations to ensure your comfort and dignity.
Please note that children cannot be present during ultrasound appointments or brought into the clinic. This policy helps us maintain a quiet, focused, and safe environment for all patients.
